統計結果出爐! 截至今天為止，在IMDB Top 250 movies(16th, Feb, 2010當天排行)名單中，我只看過52 53部左右（包括昨天重看的[刺激1995]排名1，評分9.0）。看過的電影數量比我想像中的少很多。原因應該是排行榜中大多數電影年代久遠，在1985年之前出品的電影我幾乎沒有看過（12 Angry Man是唯一例外，這部片是AMM上學期Critical Thinking課程的指定教材）。1985那一年我還沒上小學。幾乎可以定調我的IMDB Top 250 movies大挑戰為老電影之旅。
排行榜中最老的電影是排名92的［大都會Metropolis］，在1927年出品。最新一部電影是去年底的超熱門電影［Avator］，2009年出品，排名51。
排行中許多知名的電影，如教父、異形、魔鬼終結者等系列，我小時候可能看過，但印象非常模糊，也不太記得劇情內容，所以列為未看過電影。
52 53部看過的電影中有些就是像是久違的老朋友，再次在排行榜中碰面又勾起我與它們的美好回憶，像是「盧安達飯店Hotel Rwanda」與「V怪客V for Vendetta」，還有堪稱經典的 [鬥陣俱樂部Fight Club]，都是我非常喜歡但沒有在台灣市場大賣的電影。排行榜中也有讓我百思不其解為什麽會入榜的電影，如［神鬼認證The Bourne Identity]系列。
有趣的是，在排行榜上亞洲電影不多，大多數都是宮崎駿的動畫共有五部入圍，華文電影只有李安的臥虎藏龍上榜，排名221，評分8.0，還有排名249名得分7.9的無間道。
我想我真的給自己找了個大挑戰。列表中有許多電影不是我喜歡的類型，我也怕我會看老電影看到睡著。前一陣子興致沖沖的看了經典名片［畢業生The Graduate］，但看到一半我就放棄了，整部片的敘事節奏太緩慢，鏡頭運作平板單調，實在不有趣。原諒我開始看電影的這十幾年每天接收的聲光刺激可不是十幾年前的人可以想像的，都被［Avator］、［2012］這類電影養成重口味了，希區考克還能讓我驚悚嘛？
舉例來說，昨天看完（其實之前看過）的[刺激1995]，真的是一部好電影，但對我這位被電視影集【越獄】迷得團團轉的觀眾而言，刺激1995一點都不刺激（想不通這部中文片名為什麽會翻譯成刺激1995阿?）。但既然決定要挑戰IMDB Top 250 movies，我看我逃也逃不掉，我還是會找時間有耐心得將［畢業生The Graduate］看完。
